Peer Support & Education
Peer teams offering judgment-free care and practical support on the ground.
Our peer teams—many with lived or living experience—are the backbone of our harm reduction approach. They provide non-judgmental support, normalize help-seeking, and share practical strategies for safer use, including hydration, pacing, buddy systems, and overdose recognition. By modeling compassion and empathy, peers create approachable touchpoints that reduce stigma and build trust in nightlife settings.
All volunteers are carefully screened and trained through in-house modules covering overdose response, de-escalation, ADA awareness, and compassionate engagement. Each team is supervised by experienced leads to ensure quality, safety, and consistency. This structure ensures that every interaction is supportive, trauma-informed, and aligned with the overall safety goals of the event.
