Mobile Peer Outreach
Not every guest will approach a booth or step into a sanctuary space, which is why meeting people where they are is at the core of our harm reduction approach. Our Mobile Peer Outreach teams circulate through high-traffic areas, offering supplies, check-ins, and supportive, non-judgmental conversation in real time. This mobility allows us to spot risks early, intervene before situations escalate, and connect with individuals who might not otherwise seek support—ensuring harm reduction is woven seamlessly into the flow of the event.
- Rapid response in emergencies.
- High visibility, increasing attendee awareness of harm reduction presence.
- Ability to carry and distribute supplies across large sites.
- Extends reach into harder-to-access areas (parking lots, camping zones, medical overflow).
- Creates a roaming, approachable presence for attendees hesitant to visit a booth.

Our peer teams move through the venue with intention, blending into the flow of the crowd while creating approachable moments of connection. On-foot outreach allows us to meet people exactly where they are—whether that’s at the dance floor, in line for water, or taking a breather outside.
