Location, Location, Location:
Our location is right next to Lovely Little Lake (see map for reference). Our 10ft x 20ft canopy will be set up adjacent to the medical tent to easily provide rangers/medical trip sitting support for green dots as needed.
Arrival Info:
The festival is actually located approximately 15 minutes outside of Joshua Tree National Park & is held at Joshua Tree Lake Campground. The exact address is 2780 Sunfair Road Joshua Tree, CA 92252. Early arrival begins at 10:00am on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Our volunteers must be off the property no later than Monday, October 10 at 3:00pm.
Weather:
Expect daytime temperatures up to 87° & a low possible of 56° at night. Expect wind speeds of 3-1\ mph. Please plan accordingly! — Plan Accordingly!
What to Bring:
Essential equipment & gear (but is not limited to) a tent, sleeping bag, mats, pillows, folding chair, flashlights, camp stove, camp fuel, cooking utensils, toilet paper, baby wipes, hygiene products, trash bags, bug spray, sunscreen, & all other camping essentials. Always bring extra clothing appropriate for the region & the season. Always bring extra clothing or an extra blanket just to be safe.
Other Event Details:
In & Out Privileges. Hot showers are free from 8:00am to 8:00pm each day with a cool-down shower station available around the clock. Free filtered water — bring your own refillable container. ATMs on site. Cell reception is available plus free WIFI (courtesy of Mojave Wifi). Live music runs continuously rotating between two stages — typically from 5:00pm to Midnight on Thursday, 10:00am to 1:30am on Friday & Saturday, & on Sunday from 10:00am to Midnight. Playshops, yoga, Kidsville & all that other good stuff start Friday morning.
