Free Narcan Training at LeBard Park

🌟 Harm Reduction Hero Series: Free Narcan Training at LeBard Park in Huntington Beach 🌟

Join us at 3:30pm on Wednesday, November 29th at LeBard Park in Huntington Beach to take part in our Harm Reduction Hero Series, where we’ll be providing a Free Narcan Training! All ages are welcome!

During this 1-hour event, our training will cover how to recognize an overdose, how to respond, including how to administer Naloxone (also called Narcan Nasal Spray). Throughout the event a table will be set up, with free Narcan Nasal Spray for anyone to take home.

🔹 Training Focus:

Learn the basics and essentials of overdose response.

Master the administration of Naloxone (Narcan) – a fast-acting, over-the-counter medication with no potential for abuse or adverse reactions.

🔹 All Ages Welcome:

This training is suitable for everyone, regardless of age. We believe that knowledge has no age limit, and it can empower us all to make a difference.

We strongly encourage families with teenagers to attend & to bring them along. Our training is even suitable for children as young as grade school. In fact, the demonstration portion of our training will be led by a 9 year old who is a state-certified overdose response trainer. You won’t want to miss it!

🔹 Free Take-Home Narcan:

Throughout the event, a table will be stocked with Narcan Nasal Spray available to anyone to take home at no cost. Take 1, or take as many as you need. Our goal for this event is to provide the residents of Huntington Beach with the necessary training & resources to save a life, right at your fingertips.
