Join the Circle: Volunteering with Harm Reduction Circle

Meeting People Where They Are Across OC’s Streets, Parks, and Motels

Volunteering with our Orange County outreach team means meeting people exactly where they are — across encampments, motels, parks, and sidewalks — with compassion, respect, and practical support. Our volunteers distribute naloxone, fentanyl test strips, hygiene supplies, meals, and essential items while offering peer support and linkage to services for people experiencing homelessness or unstable housing.

You’ll be trained in harm-reduction engagement, safety protocols, overdose response, and compassionate communication before joining our team in the field. Volunteers help us maintain consistent, dependable outreach that builds trust, reduces preventable harm, and keeps people alive. If you want to make a direct impact on the front lines of the overdose and housing crises, this is the team to join.
